• LAUREN LAMONT - DIRECTOR & FOUNDER

    Lauren has volunteered with NGO’s working in Uganda for over 15 years. She has experience in office administration and running international projects. She is also an artist and uses her work to support her mission in Uganda.

    In 2015, Lauren began working directly with children living on the streets helping to raise funds for outreach programs. In 2020, Lauren established her own ministry in Uganda.

    Sarah is a Christian writer and blogger who is passionate about seeing people transformed and empowered to fulfill their God-given destiny. Sarah is on our Board of Directors and is a great encouragement for our team.

  • SAUL MULINDWA - DIRECTOR UGANDA

    Saul has 12 years experience in media production, staff management and video editing under Pastor Kanyanja at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala. He has 15 years experience volunteering with local NGO’s working with street connected children in Kisenyi.

    Saul manages our programs and team on the ground. He also manages our photography and video editing.

  • FRANKIE KISAKYE - SOCIAL WORKER

    Frankie is a qualified social worker with 20 years experience working in local NGO’s in Kampala, Uganda. He has 15 years experience working directly with street connected children. Frankie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Umoya Ministries. Frankie runs our street outreach and provides training for our staff. He regularly coordinates home visits for our resettled children.

  • PAUL SSENDAGIRE - BOARD OF DIRECTORS & VOLUNTEER

    Paul has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Art & Design and is a DJ and presenter at SaltFM, a Christian radio station in Kampala. He also runs his own business selling shoes. Paul helps run our outreach program and trains women who also want to start their own small business.

  • HELDER JORGE - EVANGELISM

    Helder is an evangelist who has been working with Iris Global in Mozambique for the past 10 years. He has been involved as a translator for visiting preachers, outreach and evanglism in Mozambique. He studied at the Iris Harvest school of Missions in Pemba under Heidi and Rolland Baker.

    Helder will be joining our team in 2025. He will be training our staff in evangelism and helping to coordinate outreach into the local community to share the gospel.
